About Erica

Erica Ramus is a Schuylkill County native and a graduate of St. Clair Area High School. She earned degrees at Armand Hammer United World College of the American West (I.B.), University of Delaware Honors Program and Kutztown University (B.A.). She holds a Master’s Degree in Real Estate (MRE) and in 2013 was one of only 10 real estate brokers in the first class to complete this program. She has served on committees at both the state and national level (PAR and NAR) and was the 2021 President of the Reading Berks Association of Realtors. In 2023 she chaired the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors Professional Standards committee. She was honored with the Reading-Berks Association of Realtors REALTOR of the Year in 2023.

As a magazine editor and publisher, Erica started Schuylkill Living Magazine in 1997. She later sold that magazine to the Pottsville Republican newspaper. She opened her real estate brokerage in Pottsville in 2007. She has been extremely active in the community, especially in the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce (Past President) and Rotary Club of Pottsville (Past President). She lives in Wayne Township with her husband and has two grown sons. The Ramus family frequently hosts exchange students and has had 11 students live with them from France, Russia, Germany, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Bangladesh, Mexico and Ecuador.
