Orwigsburg

Orwigsburg is a small town of about 3,000 residents in Southern Schuylkill County. The quaint town square is ringed by businesses and classic-styled two and three-story homes dating back to the 1800s. Named for the town's founder, Peter Orwig, it was the county seat until county government moved it to Pottsville in 1851.
